Key Responsibilities

Correspondent Banking: Support and maintain relationships with Foreign Financial Institutions (FIs) and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) like ADB and IFC.
Trade Finance: Process and supervise trade finance instruments, including Letters of Credit (LCs) and Bank Guarantees. Manage UPAS LCs and export bills.
Account Management: Reconcile Nostro Accounts and monitor all foreign currency transactions for strict accuracy.
Offshore Banking (OBU): Execute Offshore Banking Unit operations and assist in arranging trade loans and bilateral term borrowings.
Compliance & Due Diligence: Ensure adherence to AML and KYC regulations. Check international databases (Banker’s Almanac, Lloyd’s List) to ensure compliance.
Branch Support: Liaise with local branches to resolve operational issues or payment disputes with foreign banks.

Required Qualifications

Academic Background: Master’s Degree from a recognized university in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or English.
Experience: At least 6 years of banking experience. This must include 3-4 years in relevant international banking or trade finance activities.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 34 to 40 years old.
Technical Skills: Solid practical knowledge of Nostro Account Management, SWIFT Operations, and International Banking Compliance.
